Hi! I’m Nicole, the owner and heart behind Local Love Co. I took over this fabulous little market-planning company at the end of 2024, and I’ve been having way too much fun connecting people with businesses in our amazing community ever since!

While markets are where Local Love began, these days I’m taking a bit of a different approach. I focus on creating fun collaborations, bringing local businesses together, helping businesses get in front of new customers, and finding creative ways to showcase all the incredible talent we have right here in the Foothills. But don't worry, we still do a couple markets a year!

Local Love Co. is also home to the Big Rock Collection: a growing collection of Okotoks-inspired goods that I’m passionate about getting into local shops, markets and the hands of people who love this Okotoks as much as I do.

With a diploma in Event Management and 15+ years of experience in the industry, I’ve spent a lot of time behind the scenes making events, ideas and partnerships come together. These days, I’m all about less “run a million markets” and more “let’s make something awesome happen together.”

I live in Okotoks with my husband and our two daughters, and supporting local isn’t just part of my business, it’s something I do every, single day!
